WINE CABINE

Location : Marcoux, Loire, France

Clients : Chateau de Goutelas

Status : Competition 2020 - second fase

With Rémi Méjan and Martin Coeurdevey

The project arises from the ground and is carried by four solid pillars. Those are made up of soil extracted on the site. The framework generates a void and floats above the altar. This wine cabine offers four windows to celebrate the landscape.

Made of rammed earth, the project uses the most common and local technic in dialogue with the vernacular heritage of the Forez. The framework reuses old form work from local construction sites.
